HELLO SAUDADE

"Hello Saudade" is the new album from the Pianocean project: sailing around the world with a piano on board. Pianist-navigator Marieke Huysmans-Berthou composed and recorded the 8 tracks of this album during her sailing tour in the Azores. His piano-voice compositions with folk and Celtic accents meet the traditional music and instruments of the archipelago to offer a musical journey of great poetry to the land of Saudade, this "happiness out of the world", this untranslatable nostalgia which is best shared when sung.
