This is the second volume of my beloved rhythms: following the path initiated by the first, Luca, Willy and I have played and transformed these traditional rhythms that are particularly close to my heart: the milong¾n from Uruguay, the guaguanc¾ from Cuba, the merengue caraque±o and the tonada from Venezuela, the land¾ from Peru. Thanks to our confinement, we also chose to take other paths, such as group composition, free improvisation, or the salsification of well-known themes from the repertoire, counting on the tacit agreement of Maurice, Thelonious and Antonio Carlos to join us on an imaginary tour in La Habana.
