Labyrinth of a line is an innovative album that combines elements of live vocal performance, electroacoustic music, and a poetic text of the same name written by Lionel Marchetti. The project features a dynamic quartet of artists with diverse backgrounds : Xavier Garcia (sampler, treatments, laptop), Lionel Marchetti (tape recorder, sounds, texts), Caroline Gesret (voice) and Laura Tejeda (voice). Drawing inspiration from Pierre's Schaeffer's musique concrÞte, the artists treat sounds as raw materials for composition. The poetic text serves as a foundational thread for their sonic exploration and manipulation. It undergoes a multifaceted treatment - read, spoken, sung, deconstructed, reconstructed - creating a captivating interplay of auditory elements. The artists' musical approach revolves around the intuition of the moment, engaging in improvisation and making spontaneous creative decisions. They skillfully manipulate both concrete and electronic elements, crafting a mesmerizing musical and poetic fresco that unfolds organically throughout the album.
