7 VARIATIONS SUR LE TAO

With Prima Kanta, a kind of neo-classical orchestra, Laurent Rochelle sets off on the Tao path in search of new musical and spiritual sensations. Each composition originally written for the show "PyrÚnÚes magic mountain" has been redesigned with new musicians for this musical project inspired by the great book of Chinese philosophy the "Tao Te King", developed several centuries BC by Lao Tseu. The recording is built on 7 compositions which evoke 7 different states of life, Jian (awakening), Xiao Xu (flight), Da Xu (growing up), Li (attachmentdetachment), Yu (crossing its limits) , Kan (to nourish the feminine), Tong (to harmonize the elements). Finally the journey ends with "The melody of the Tao", because the Tao is one and unifies everything.
