An album called Guitar Chant . In this one there is novocals, no texts, the main element is the Guitar. It substitutessingers and chant with its notes, its harmonies and its silencestoo. The various speakers come to join and bring theirmusicality to the project and it basically sounds Reggae butnearness sounds Jazz that the tracks take shape together.Kubix surrounds himself with renowned artists such as theJapanese pianiste Aya Kato, the keyboardist Marcus Urani(Groundation), or the most amazing the legendary bassist andsinger of the Gladiators, Clinton Fearon on the track MixUp. As well we find the mythical trombonist Vin Gordon (BobMarley, Skatalites, Burning Spear etc) also featuring on thetracks Still Standing and The Walk. Partners on stage andstudio from many years now, they each bring their own specialtouch to the original compositions of the guitarist.The album is recorded between Paris (Wise Studio) and NewYork (Rift Studio) and brings together 21 musicians. An albumwhich draws its inspiration from the musicals experiences andthe meetings of exciting people throughout Kubix career,which highlights musicians, leaves them express themselves,and pay tribute to the Guitar .
