History Say

Brand new studio album from the renowned reggae singer and bassist with eleven songs as CD in digipack and as LP on BOOGIE BROWN PRODUCTIONS and BACO. Born in 1951 and already musically active as a young teenager, Clinton Fearon jumped in at 19 years for the ailing David Webber as a singer and bassist of the rootreggae band THE GLADIATORS with which he celebrated numerous successes. Also active as a studio musician with Coxsone Dodd (Studio One) and Lee 'SCRATCH' PERRY (BLACK ARK), he played on numerous contemporary recordings by other artists. In 1987 he moved to Seattle, where he established his own BOOGIE BROWN BAND ever since. After the artist last republished his baking catalogue and released formidable new works with 'Goodness' (2014) and 'This Morning' (2016), he now presents 'History Say' at 68 years: a finely balanced melange of classic roots reggae and folky sounds perfectly underlines the authority of the experienced musican, the together with a few selected guests (ALPHA BLONDY, SHERINE FEARON, MIKE LOVE) delivers a wonderful album, crowned by his uniquely charismatic vocal voice.
