Fils de Personne

With "Fils de personne", Yarol Poupaud pays tribute to Johnny Hallyday, whose guitarist and musical director from 2011 to 2017. Through the album's 12 tracks, recorded and mixed alone, Yarol essentially revisits his favorite period of Johnny's career: the end of the 60's and the beginning of the 70's, when musicians like Jimmy Page, Peter Frampton or Mick Jones accompanied him in the studio. In the list, some songs that we all know ("Son of nobody", "The penitentiary", "Hey Joe".), others less famous ("Claims", "To break everything".), but also standards ("She is terrible", "O Carole".). Throughout "Son of nobody", Yarol Poupaud remains faithful to the Rock n'Roll energy that animated Johnny and that we feel on the original versions, while adding his identity.
