Atlas, 7th album by La Maison Tellier, marks the band's great return to folk rock from its debut. Fifteen years have passed, during which the French band has, as a stubborn craftsman, refined its know-how: it is time for him to sign a masterful album of music rooted in America, sung in French language on which the shadows of Neil Young and Gérard Manset hangs. This album, whose recording has come close to the conditions of the concert, vibrates with the commitment of the five musicians, their telepathic conversations as well as their lonely escapes. They walk it in tight-walks, on a crest thread between gravity and lightness, fervor and peace, alternating melodies taken away and heart-breaking walks. The last notes of the album vanished, persist five tight silhouettes, stars stuck in the cloth of the vast world, shining with their uncertain light. They just offered their best: the twelve songs of Atlas.
