Das Ensemble La Ferté widmet sich der Wiederentdeckung der Sonaten von Charles-François Grégoire de La Ferté und legt nun sein Debütalbum vor. Diese Werke, die das Ensemble erstmals 2022 erkundete, offenbaren eine sehr persönliche Sprache, stehen aber auch in der Tradition Lullys, sind also geprägt von italienischen Einflüssen und bewahren gleichzeitig französische Eleganz. Sie stellen eine Mischung aus Tanz, Virtuosität und kontrapunktischer Vielfalt dar. Die Aufnahme ist das Ergebnis dreijähriger Arbeit und lässt eine wenig bekannte Figur der französischen Barockmusik mit Frische und Fantasie wieder aufleben.
