Comet Records présente la réédition de NEPA du pionnier de l'afrobeat Tony Allen, remastérisé et livré dans une épaisse pochette Deluxe Tip-On, pour la première fois depuis 1984.
En 1979, Tony Allen décide de quitter Fela Kuti & Africa 70 et s'installe à Londres en 1982. Sorti à l'origine en 1984 sur Earthworks Records, cette réédition contient un titre supplémentaire inédit sur vinyle appelé "Olokun". N.E.P.A (Never Expect Power Always) est une critique virulente de la Nigerian Electric Power Authority, une organisation qui régissait l'utilisation de l'électricité au Nigeria.
