HK, the singer-songwriter of 'Danser encore' and 'On lâche rien', returns to us this time in the company of Awa Ly, a magnificent Jazz Soul singer with a golden voice. Together, they offer us "Another meeting": a poetic and musical appeal to today’s mixed and combative France. The story begins when Meziane Azaïche and Rokhaya Diallo have the beautiful idea to bring together HK and Awa Ly for the show "Welcome Alykoum" presented at the Cabaret Sauvage in 2019. From this artistic and human encounter, will be born the 11 songs shared in this album including a setting of Jacques Prévert’s poem "Etranges Etrangers". Without forgetting anything about past wounds, HK and Awa Ly pay tribute to those who contribute to building a living together respectful of the plurality of differences every day and to write a new page of our history faithful to these words of Martin Luther King: "We must learn to live together as sisters and brothers, otherwise we will all die together like idiots".
