Embrasement

Discover EMBRASEMENT, MISANTHROPE's 11th studio album, a major chapter in the history of French Metal! Misanthrope finally returns 9 years after Alpha X Omega: The Magisterium of Abnegation. With EMBRASEMENT, an album of 13 completely unreleased tracks, forged in the excess, flamboyance and requirement that made the legend of the cult group of French Metal Extreme. A work of absolute renaissance, from which new classics are already emerging: the historical "Édifier de l'Anjou", the flamboyant "The Diagnostic of Needles", the diabolical "Helloïse", and the atmospheric metal tube of the video clip "Comtesse Vampyr". With EMBRASEMENT, Misanthrope delivers a total work where each title seems to spring from a fiery fire. The band fully embraces its historic and grandiose Metal Extreme heritage, while pushing even further the sophistication of its arrangements, the quality of its production, the density of its texts and the virtuosity of its interpretations. The album bears its name: it is a dizzying and dramatic ascent, from the birth to the last clash of the conceptual hero "Alcest of Hate" from 1666 to 2666. More than an album, it is a burning of the human soul, a civilizational incandescent. An artistic fire born from the unquenchable passion of his musicians for Metal Extreme. This 11th album also marks a new era for the band: it is the first album fully recorded and mixed at Studio Henosis, offering a broad sound, rich texture and unprecedented finesse. The creative power of Misanthrope is intact and increased tenfold, even more severe and more inspired than ever. The philosophical, researched and poetic vision of the words of S.A.S de l'Argilière reaches a new height. From the first riffs, the group imposes its strength and unique aura. The compositions, of rare intensity, oscillate between extreme fury, suffocating atmospheres and virtuoso mastery of Jean-Jacques Moréac, Anthony Scemama & Gaël Féret. The orchestral grandeur, acquired over the decades, returns here with brilliance: it is the great return of symphonic titles at Misanthrope, driven by an unprecedented approach to orchestration married to a massive sound very Metal. The technical mastery and literary verve, unique to Misanthrope, are asserting themselves more than ever. A real school case in the world metal landscape. Over 65 minutes of music, EMBRASEMENT deploys a monumental sound architecture, where each track explores a different facet of humanity's misanthropy, passion and tragic disproportion. EMBRASEMENT stands out as an essential work in Misanthrope's career: of fire and mastery, celebrating over 37 years of excess, audacity and innovation by lovers of the underground scene. This Deluxe digipack is the version entirely sung in French. A version entirely sung in English, titled "Conflagration", is also dispon
