Limited Edition to 1038 ex. MISANTHROPE's new studio album. "Les Déclinists" by French pioneers, Misanthrope, brings together 12 classics spanning from 1990 to 1997. But this is not a best of compilation, but a new studio album made up of new versions! All the classics have been re-recorded and re-arranged. The group worked with the same team in charge of producing the 2021 re-recordings of "Misanthrope Immortal". A nostalgic look back to the era of the Doom Death Vanguard of the 90s. MISANTHROPE fans have been so demanding this album! The two previously unrecorded titles dating from the time "Deus Puerilis" and "Miracles: Totem Taboo" should delight the builders of MISANTHROPE. In addition, this album contains new musical arrangements by Anthony Scemama, Jean-Jacques Moréac and Gaël Féret. The texts of S.A.S de l'Argilière are available for the first time in their complete version, including original and unpublished verses and all sung entirely in French for the first time. "Les Déclinistes" is the studio album celebrating the 34th anniversary of the French band, MISANTHROPE and will be released on Holy Records in 2023. The album is a selection of re-recorded classics that are taken from early demos and albums from 1990 to 1997, from "Hater of Mankind" to "Visionnaire". 7 years of work. "Les Déclinistes" was recorded and produced by Misanthrope at Studio Ænigma, in France from 2015 to 2021, then mixed and mastered by Frédéric Gervais at Studio Henosis, France from 2021 to 2022. A gift from MISANTHROPE members to their fans for their unwavering support throughout these years!
