Four year after her acclaimed album in the Philly Jazz serie (Ismaa / Discograph), Monnette recorded in Paris with top parisian musicians (John Betsch, Peter Giron, Davide Neerman.). Monnette bring the listener to a journey in great black music from the cover of classic such Infant Eyes (Doug Carn), Use me (Bill Withers) to her folk - jazz composition, with sometimes an african vibes.
