The Brame duo was born of the meeting of Joseph DefÞche and Julia Ohayon. The pair, who have been plying their trade in theatre and music for over 10 years, have come together to form a musical duo of bewitching charm and daring delicacy. Carried along by an intrepid minimalist groove, their two voices combine to take us on a delightful journey, tinged with poetry and enchanting sounds, where the absurd and the real intermingle with subtlety. In "Si tu veux", his five-track debut album, Brame interweaves words with the rhythms of his musical wanderings. When he's not singing his own lyrics, he's borrowing a sonnet or ballad from MallarmÚ or Rimbaud.
