Assembled by Pierre Pi (Komplex, Position Parallele, Zero Communication…) and Eric U0 (Celluloide, Thee Hyphen, SignalBruit…) The Machine deploys its high-definition vintage electronics in a way that is as insidious as it is subversive. Inspired by fantasy and other b-movies of the 1950s, La Machine recycles science fiction and horror films and finds its place in a present where the absurd, the nuclear nightmare and the control of individuals are never far away… With a first single as a starting point, La Machine unveils its first offensive: Electro-minimal recovery of the proto-punk song sung by Dani in 1999 67, "The Machine That Serves Nothing" alone sums up the tone of The Machine. Immediately confirmed by FFP2, a real erotic-sanitary anthem in a hygienist world obsessed with wearing a mask. A serious and complex cover of the heady ritourelle of the classic Pop Corn is exclusive to the EP, which complements the long versions of the first 2 titles. Get ready for the most terrifying analog thrill ever felt! Who knows just how far the machine can go?
