Ave de Maere

It is with a certain idea of flamboyance that Pierre de Maere made a smashing entry into francophone pop. Within a few months, he breathed his taste for panache, mixing feverish romanticism, biting irony and a keen sense of performance. A male revelation at the Victoires de la musique 2023, driven by a debut album Regarde moi (certified platinum), Pierre de Maere seduces – without ever taking himself seriously – and imposes, with disconcerting ease and freedom. For this second album, Pierre de Maere leaves the fantasized narratives of his beginnings in favor of intimate stories: first loves, first disappointments, first conflicts… the story of an urgent conquest of freedom, between vulnerability and distrust, at the dawn of adulthood. Ave de Maere tells the story of a teenager late, vulnerable conqueror in search of new sensations, freedoms, and himself. Carried by the hit "Je pense à vous ", the 12 tracks of Ave de Maere consecrate Pierre de Maere as one of the brightest stars in French-speaking pop.
