Silent Highway

In the early 1980s, four young Glasgowers went into London exile to form what they called a "right" band at the time. A band that would write personal, emotional songs with the goal of touching people. Barely arrived, they had enough of the ever-changing fashions in London and set out to create a music that would stand the test of time.
The Silencers were born. Now they are back with their tenth album: "Silent Highway".
The recipe remains unchanged. Carefully crafted songs, uplifting melodies and empathetic lyrics.
The twelve tracks of "Silent Highway" leave their mark and become one with you - a hypnotic groove that will make you rock your toes or dance to the lyrics as authentic, sincere or unreal as political, ironic or funny.
"Silent Highway" was conceived by Jimme O'Neill as a veritable return to the roots of what made "the" Silencers sound, namely their very first album "A Letter from St. Paul," the album that started it all.
