Deux Hommes Dans Manhattan: Suivi De L'intégrale Christian Chevallier 1955-1962

Jean Cocteau eerde hem met de titel `Prins van de Franse Jazz', maar Christian Chevallier was tevreden om pianist, vibrafonist en bandleider te zijn, en ook ÚÚn van de grootste arrangeurs van de jaren vijftig. Hier zijn de eerste jazzalbums van Chevallier bijeengebracht, te beginnen met de prachtige soundtrack voor de film "Two Men in Manhattan". De muziek is een spectaculaire demonstratie van Chevalliers werk op zijn artistieke hoogtepunt en deze opname heeft een onuitwisbare stempel gedrukt op de Franse jazz.
