The Birth of British Rock: 1948-1962

Aanvankelijk ge´nspireerd door de Verenigde Staten en de koloniÙn van Jamaica en Trinidad, bloeide de Engelse rock op uit blues (Alexis Korner), boogie (Winifred Atwell) en de grote skiffle-rage onder leiding van de Schot Lonnie Donegan.
