Great compilation of all three albums of the French DIEGO IMBERT QUARTET. The jazz must-have appears as a 3xCD box on TREBIM MUSIC. Born in Paris in 1966, IMBERT first received classic violin lessons for ten years before he switched to electric bass at the age of 15. In 1986 and 1987 he began a jazz training at the Centre d'Informations Musicales Paris, which he graduated at the Centre Musical et Créatif de Nancy in 1989. In 1991 he began writing as a journalist for the magazine 'Bass & Drums', later he also worked for the magazine 'Guitare & Bass' in France. At times still operating from Nancy, he became a member of the big band SHAKE ORCHESTRA in 1992, with which he recorded the album 'Angustia d'amour' (1999). He increasingly shifted to the playing of double bass, which he studied with EDDIE GOMEZ, HEIN CAN DE GEYN and JEAN-FRANCOIS JENNY-CLARK. In his further career, he played with the big names of jazz: ARCHIE SHEPP, ALDO ROMANO, ERIC LEGNINI and much more. As part of the DIEGO IMBERT QUARTET, together with ALEX TASSEL, DAVID EL-MALEK and FRANCK AGULHON he released three albums, which are released here as a box.
