Jacky Molard - violin virtuoso and co-founder of the Innacor label - spent thirty years drastically changing Breton popular music by introducing it to the never-ending diversity of world music; and then in 2005 he decided to start a group in his own name and the "Jacky Molard Acoustic Quartet' was born. The group are influenced by many forms of music and improvise powerfully on this set of suites from Brittany, the Hebrides and the Balkans. Jazz as we've never heard it before, played with the fresh and joyful impetus of folk music, by some of the finest msuicians you've never heard!
