It's a Bomb

For a long time, the music of Congo-born Bony Bikaye had to be sought in the purgatory of "world music." Bikaye, who grew up listening to modern European music like krautrock, recorded a couple of albums with CY1, produced by Hector Zazou. Now it's up to French trio TONN3RR3 with Bikaye who joined forces and releases 'It's A Bomb.' A intriguing mix of soukouss, rumba, synths, percussion, Roland 808 patterns, and vocals which sometimes remind of Screamin' Jay Hawkins. Includes download code.
