Polaroid/Roman/Photo

When Thierry Muller, the initiator of the Ruth project, releases the album 'Polaroid/Roman/Photo' in 1985, he was not an unknown artist back then. In 1977 Thierry launched his first experimental group, Arcane, soon followed by the Ilitch project and the more punk orientated band Ruth Ellyeri, in collaboration with actress Murielle Huster. Early 1982, a first version of the track 'Polaro´d/Roman/Photo' was released under the name of the project Ruth. The full-length album was released in 1985 through a small independant label and sold poorly. The title track was re-discovered by DJs Marc Moulin and Ivan Smagghe in the early 2000s, provoking renewed interest from the electronic music scene. Alongside his activity as graphic designer, Thierry Muller carries on producing music under his own name to date. The LP includes a 12-page booklet with liner notes in French and English.
