Aquilon

Completely remixed and remastered and also available on vinyl for the first time: the first album by Parisian beatmaker and DJ Degiheugi with a smooth and captivating abstract trip-hop mix as a CD in a digipack and as a double LP (clear light blue vinyl) in a gatefold sleeve X ray production. As early as the late 1990s, the young Degiheugi was fascinated by turntableism and the almost limitless possibilities of sampling in hip hop, but he soon found that the scene and genre were too narrow for him. In the new millennium he is constantly refining his skills and since his debut album "Aquilon. L.P.-01" (2006) continues the detailed, cinematic downbeat. Influenced by abstract hip hop and trip hop, his musical expression continues to expand from album to album. With newly created artwork and a simplified title, the 13 tracks of the debut have been released with a significantly improved sound and, for the first time, also on LP.
