During the pandemic Los Deltonos had something going on. Sergio Rodrguez would be thenew piece that together with the drummer Javi Arias would drive the rhythmic heart of thegroup and Hendrik Rover would be in charge of all the guitars and singing those lyricsloaded with fine irony, hidden criticism and tons of sense of humor. The band reinventeditself by returning to the original formula."Mueve!", the new collection of songs by Los Deltonos, brings us a perfectly functioningband, sounding wonderfully forceful and what is best, tremendously inspired. If in theirprevious album they seemed urgent, wild and direct to the jugular, this time they presentus with a more balanced repertoire and rich in nuances. More mature? Forget that hatefulterm, but we do find in these new songs an evident symmetry between the fury of theirmost immediate songs and the subtlety of their more melodic compositions.
