An hommage to the Spoken Word genre. Nine Spoken Word tracks with various guest vocalists, including Henry Rollins, David Boulter (Tindersticks), Barry Hay (Golden Earring), Spinvis, Alex Roeka, Daisy Cools & Mark Ritsema. All of them radiating an enigmatic darkness. Found sounds, samples, violin, strange organs, dark saxophone and sometimes subtle piano, Fender Rhodes and Mellotron provide a sonic bath for the beautiful short stories and poems narrated by these different soulful voices. Each song comes with an original piece of art (featured in the artwork) from different artists, including Henk Schiffmacher and James Johnston.
