#BRSTKRN is BARST & Karen Willems. Two musicians and a poet gathered in a car garage with no intentions to compromise. In just oneday, they recorded a remarkable improvisational duel between BARST and Karen Willems,interrupted and augmented by Sofie Verdoodts spoken word performance.Surrounded by industrial gear and overwhelmed by the scent of burnt rubber, the trio managed totranscend from the worldly plane into a free-spirited collision of cables, wires and artisticcreativity. This process and the setting was documented by photographer Jeroen Jacobs.The result is an immersive, sometimes discordant, experience with a hint of krautrock, drones,jazz and noise.
