The debut LP from Long Beach, California's Swampland conjures the post-punk sounds of bands like Bauhaus and The Sound while incorporating somber notes of black veiled Americana, summoning the spirit of the Gun Club and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. The 12 songs weave their way through jagged angular blasts, a cover of the Dead Moon classic "Graveyard", and songs that sound like lost compositions from an obscure acid western soundtrack. LP includes double-sided insert and digital download.
