The Stinging Nettles

Roughly 10 years and five records since its inception, Minneapolis-based alt-country band Bellwether comes with it's debut for Rosa Records. The Stinging Nettles followed the album "7 & 6" and they say the tracks represent an alter-ego for Bellwether, with a strikingly different mood and tone. The Stinging Nettles includes songs that portray a more lighthearted, innocent band - with band members operating outside the parameters and constraints of their genre, and ultimately letting it all loose.
