At the time when terrible carnivores ruled, herbivores protected themselves from bites thanks to a solid cuirass. His name means 'rigid lizard'. The adults were 6 to 9 meters long and about 2 meters tall and weighed 4 tons. Difficult to bite the ankylosaur: his back was covered with big quills.
