PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Flying squirrels are nocturnal rodents and often live in a nest in the hollow of a tree. They are solitary in summer, but often form groups of about twenty individuals in winter. To feed in the dark, they use their big eyes, excellent hearing and long sensitive whiskers. In the fall, they make reserves of food for the winter. They mostly love plants (seeds, nuts, young shoots, fruits and buds) and also eat insects and bird eggs.
