Astor Piazzolla: Tango, Live

De opnames op deze cd zijn gemaakt in 1985 tijdens het Internationale Gitaarfestival van Luik. Maestro Astor Piazzolla wordt bijgestaan door de Argentijnse gitarist Cacho Tirao, de Cubaanse bandleider / gitarist Leo Brouwer (die hier het LiÞge Royal Philharmonic Orchestra dirigeert), de Belgische fluitist Marc Grauwels en Guy Lukowski, gitarist en artistiek directeur/producent van het festival. Lukowski was tevens degene die de aanzet gaf tot dit muzikale werk. Dit concert is zonder twijfel ÚÚn van de mooiste momenten die de tango ons heeft gegeven.
