"The `Bois de Caux' in Normandy is close to Brotonne Forest and the village of Auzebosc. Here, between 4 and 7 o'clock in the morning, Jean-Luc HErelle made the seven recordings presented in this CD in the form of a shortened morning in a Normandy forest. Before dawn, the Tawny Owl sings to the accompaniment of some early birds (Wren, Blackbird, Cuckoo). As the dawn advances, we hear Woodpigeon and Song Thrush, then warblers and Chiffchaff.
