Soldat Louis is een Bretonse folkrockgroep. De combinatie van rockinstrumenten met Bretonse folk is onweerstaanbaar en maakt de groep tot een graag geziene gast op festivals in binnen- en buitenland. Rock n roll is voor de band een manier van leven. Hun nieuwste cd heeft tien nieuwe, eigen nummers die er soms behoorlijk op los stampen en doen denken aan Deep Purple, maar bij vlagen opvallend mild en melodieus zijn.
