Your Tamagotchi will have discipline level, hunger, and happy meters that you must keep full to provide the best standard of care. You can feed your cyber pet food to fill the hunger meter, and snacks to fill the happy meter, but both will make the Tamagotchi put on weight so be sure to play games with them that will also increase their happiness. As time passes your electronic pet will need cleaning as a regular pet would, if you don't do this promptly your Tamagotchi can become ill and you will need to heal it with medicine.
