Enthält Kleber • Pinsel • Hauptfarben. Die Curtiss P-40 E war der Nachfolger der Hawk 81 A, besser bekannt als Tomahawk. Sie flog erstmals am 22. Mai 1941 unter der Bezeichnung Hawk 87 A. Großbritannien und andere Länder des Commonwealth bestellten 540 Exemplare, die sie Kittyhawk 1A nannten. Eine zweite Bestellung über 1.500 Maschinen ging an die US Army Air Force, die sie unter der Bezeichnung Curtiss P-40 E einsetzte und später im Rahmen des Land-Lease-Abkommens an Großbritannien zurückverkaufte.
