Bayard presents the world premiere recording of Boely's complete organ works played by Marie-Ange Leurent and Eric Lebrun. In addition to the first recordings of the published works, this collection offers first performances of all the posthumous pieces, classified by liturgical use on the one hand and stylistic affinities on the other. The Colmar Boys' Choir, under the direction of Arlette Steyer, performs the vocal parts of the masses and hymns. Nine magnificent instruments were used, each carefully chosen to match the work performed.
