Au (Alternate Universe)

AU (Alternate Universe) was recorded over several years and invarious spaces, including HOTT MT's former home base,underground venue Non Plus Ultra. AU has been mixed by psychartist Morgan Delt (Sub Pop), and is loosely based on MichaelEnde's novel "The Never-Ending Story." The album borrowsthemes from the book's lesser known and darker half. Sonicallyinspired by fantasy soundtracks and medieval arrangements, AUis a raw and youthful exploration of adolescence as it transforms into adulthood. AU is about times of change, specifically when your old reality has fallen apart but your new universe hasn't completely solidified yet, the album is a dramatization based on our experiences with those types of moments.
