Northflip is a collaboration of two strong instrumentalists: Viivi Maria Saarenkyl (accordion) and J-P Piirainen (acoustic guitar). Flipping seamlessly between tradition and popular culture, the vivid music of this Northern duo is bustling influences from near and far. But the North is deep in the duos DNA and the music grooves like a snowball rolling down the hill - mingling these inspirations and impulses into a thrilling core of new Finnish music.
