Juho Peltoniemi is a drummer, composer and pedagogue from Porvoo, whose compositions have been released on Maratone Quintet and Heads & Tales before founding his own band. As a versatile musician, he has worked since the mid-2000s in various styles of productions from jazz to classical. In the trio is also pianist Aleksis Liukko and Juho Kivivuori, an expressive and versatile contrabass and electric bassist. The album, which is based on Nordic sound and African-American jazz tradition is featuring trumpeter Martti Vesala (Martti Vesala Soundpost Quintet, UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestra, Njet Njet 9, among others) as a guest player.
