Welcome to rural Sweden 150 years ago. Nils Olof and Peter learned from musicians steeped in the tradition of that time or even before. Nils Olof began his affair with Swedish music in 1971 and he learned from Rojas Jonas, Pal Olle and Laggar Anders and Vikman's Hans (composer of 'Kvarnresan' Peter plays beautiful harmonies to Nils Olof's melodies. We deliberately emulate the old sound. We recorded this CD in Nils Olof's old barn in Southern Oregon (the barn was built by Swedes in late 1800)
