The stage name of California native Charlotte Emma Kopp (1927-2007), Cory Lind was a talented and charismatic pop singer who was active in the late 1950s. Backed by a stellar band led by guitarist, composer and arranger Jack Marshall who was heavily involved in both the Hollywood jazz and film scenes - Jack is probably best known for writing the catchy theme to the popular TV show "The Munsters." Released in September of 1957 on the Pasadena based Vita Records label, the single "Billy Loves Me" b/w/ "I'll Never Cry Over You" is an enchanting slice of late 1950's romantic pop featuring the stellar arrangements that one expects from a master such as Marshall. The ultra-rare single is presented here, newly remastered and finally made available in the digital domain.
