An accomplished award winning stage and screen actress with credits in major motion pictures, television and Broadway plays, Sheryl Lee Ralph began her career on stage and was nominated in 1982 for a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her role as Deena Jones in Dreamgirls. In 1984, Ralph released her debut album titled “In the Evening,” the title track of which peaked at #6 on the Billboard chart that same year. Presented here is the original 1984 full length album which includes bonus 12” mixes of the title track and “You’re So Romantic” plus a special instrumental mix of “In The Evening.” All selections have been newly remastered.
