Bob Dylan is just 20 years old and a fresh nickname when he records, for a handful of dollars (402, according to legend) this album opening to his phenomenal career. Elvis' rock, at the dawn of the sixties, no longer excites this fringe of youth who chose heroes Pete Seeger and Woodie Guthrie, to whom Dylan devoted one of the two original songs of his hand on this first jet. The rest consists of traditional folk (the irretrievable "House Of The Rising Sun") and folk and blues covers. The character is already here, who will pick him in this self-sufficient scene of Greenwich Village to make him a planetary star. Pressed on orange vinyl.
