Prairie Tales

This is the debut release of St. Louis based trumpeter and educator, Garrett Schmidt. Garrett is an active performer in the mid-west and is a professor of jazz trumpet at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. This record features original compositions from his time living on his grandparent's farm in Alhambra, Illinois.
