The Joy Of The Chase

The Joy of the Chase, featuring Joel Case and Jake Stevens, is the first instrumental album from the Cageless Birds. This album documents Joel and Jake’s journey of friendship and growth. In this collaborative project, Jake’s guitar driven sound merges with Joel’s melodic piano progressions to create an album that is both inspired and invitational. The Joy of the Chase features ten original tracks that create various soundscapes to explore the album’s theme of finding joy in pursuit. Moving guitar melodies, attentive percussion and clean piano lines weave together to capture the sound of adventure, belonging and freedom. The range of colors and tones curated throughout this album compels the listener to enter into the delight of both pursuing and being pursued by the Father. Jonathan David & Melissa Helser served as executive producers on The Joy of the Chase. The album was recorded and produced at our Cageless Birds studio and was mixed and mastered by Stephen Price.
