I have never been a songwriter, but simply a worship leader. However, 6 years ago when my husband and I surrendered and sold everything to follow God's call into the mission field, God began a unique gifting in my life. For lack of a better term, He began to DOWNLOAD songs into my mind and heart. I would literally be driving down the road and suddenly there would be a song; words and music. I would quickly write it down and then at the next opportunity grab my guitar and play and refine it. The 14 songs on this album are all God Songs! They come from a place in my own life as I see songs of thanksgiving, praise and several that reflect God's faithfulness even when I am struggling which, in the mission field, is often! These songs were written in many places around the globe, Costa Rica, Honduras, Panama, Uganda, Peru and right here in Colorado, Iowa, West Virginia and California. My hope is that these songs will impact people in a significant way as they walk through this life with the Lord by their side.
