When not busy performing, Ms. Ullman, also a physician by training, has an active career in dermatology, including teaching as an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the State University of New York at Buffalo's School of Medicine. Ms. Ullman's vocal engagements range from opera, in leading roles with the Bel Conto Opera Company of Rhode Island, to numerous recitals in the New England and Western New York areas, including several with noted pianist Judith Stillman. As featured soprano, she has enjoyed performing with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra in several of their Classical Holiday Concerts. A Buffalo native, Ms. Ullman performs for audiences in a variety of venues including concert performance, music festivals, television specials, and theatre. Ms. Ullman, is the lay Cantor at Western New York's largest Reform Congregation. Trained also in vocal instruction, Ms. Ullman is active in the education of students from the elementary to the college level. Though proud of her vocal achievements and with her voice often raised in song, this single mom's voice is rarely raised at her proudest accomplishment, her son. Bella Melodia - In Opera and Song.
