I am a blood washed born again Christian. My music is a reflection of my love for Jesus Christ. I would not have this ability to write, sing, play, and arrange my music if wasn't given to me from God. So therefore I feel then need to give my gift back to him by singing his praises. Gifts are without repentance, so I believe you can be gifted without receiving Christ as your lord and personal savior, so you are not fully giving your gift back to God. So for the rest of my days, I want my music to glorify God. Growing up in the COGIC, gave me an appreciation for traditional style of music. It wasn't until I was in my 20's when I was introduced to Contemporary Gospel and Contemporary Christian music. I fell in love with styles and the Chord arrangements of these styles of Gospel music. And it exemplified worship in it's pureness. I began to open my mind to more styles of Christian and Gospel music. I grew up listening to artist such as; Shirley Caesar, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, John P. Kee, Timothy Wright and so on. So at point in time in my life, I thought this was true Gospel music. But I was wrong, anything that Glorifies God is gospel music. After I allowed God take me out of the box per say, I began to listen to Deon Kipping, Fred Hammond, Michael W. Smith, Hillsong, Israel and New Breed, and ect. It gave me a so much more spiritually and musically. So my music will be a mixture of everything that I take in, my lyrics will be sent from God. So I hope you enjoy what God has given me to give to you.
